RIP Shrek

I couldn't help but post this bit of news released today. Apparently there once was a sheep in New Zealand who every year managed to avoid the shearing rounds (that means getting the sheep's wool cut, like getting a haircut!) and so she (he?) went on for years without getting a bit of her wool sheared and she became famous for it, growing into a massive furry ball of wool! It was announced today that rebel sheep Shrek died and with it, another famous sheep bites the dust. Sorry buddy!

Meet Manukura

This year's breed season was a success for Kiwis, the endangered bird species from New Zealand, for they managed to reproduce a total of 14 times which is great news if you compare it to the 10 births that were registered during the 2005-2010 seasons combined!

Manukura is a real beauty and  pretty rare apparently as kiwis are usually brown! Check out the video below and witness the natural wonder that this bird is!

Es paracaidismo. Quizás una buena forma de empezar  sería realizarlo junto con algún monitor.

Ballenas

¡ Hola !
Parece ser que el lugar adecuado para ver ballenas en Nueva Zelanda es Kaikoura. De allí parten los catamaranes desde donde podremos apreciar bancos de ballenas, delfines,orcas y albatros.

¿ Nos animamos?.

Senderismo

¿ Os gusta caminar ?. Propongo hacer una ruta de senderismo de cuatro días de duración. Hay que dormir en los refugios que encontraremos por el camino. Comentan que es el segundo lugar más maravilloso del mundo para practicar el " trekkings". Solo se puede acceder al inicio de la ruta en barco. Hay que reservar con antelación.
